BabySeal,

The reason for your expulsion was due to many events where you overstepped boundaries and broke community rules. These events ultimately resulted in removal of your access to these forums.

There were many incidents where this happened but to ensure that you are very clear on what the Director and Admin team is referring to a few will be listed here. First was when you left Shadows, clearly breaking the Multi Clan Affiliation rules of the time. Then, when the MCA had been changed in light of members desire to access end “game content” through other guilds, the agreement to have active alts in the guild was broken when you removed yours from Shadows and you stopped being active in the community. Finally, when you posted a notice of your new guild, again you broke MCA rules by not discussing this guild with any of the Directors or Admins as well as attempting to recruit members of IRON, again without expressing these intents to any of the Directors or Admins.

Although we cannot tell you how to play the games you play, this community has a set of rules that everyone agrees to when they sign up. You being a former Director should have known these rules first hand. We as Directors and Admins of this community had to take action on this matter due to many rules being broken, and the many second chances that were given to you. We reviewed all the infractions that occurred and had long discussions on this topic. This was not the decision of anyone one person or any one group, but it was the majority vote of all the persons in the Director and Admin role of this community. We would like to thank you for your time with us here at Iron Phoenix, and wish you well in your future endeavors, but your membership here has been revoked.

Iron Phoenix Directors and Administrators

I would like to take this last opportunity to post my thoughts before I ride off into the sunset.

Yes, I left Shadows prior to the new MCA, and yes, I got the boot for that. No argument there, except fo the simple statement that I liked IRON, I had friends there, and I was unable to play WoW the way that I wanted to as a member of Shadows. I did what I felt I had to do, having waited as long as I could for the casual crowd to join me at 60 and feeling that the window of opportunity to get into a raiding guild as a warrior was closing fast. As it happens, that was in fact the case. Shortly after I joined Epilogue they closed recruiting for warriors. Storm, Stratagem, and Dark Talisman had already closed their warrior recruiting. If I hadn't left when I did I'd probably have quit WoW, simply because my goals would have been all but unreachable on the Icecrown server. I have no regrets about that decision.

As for removing all of my active alts from Shadows, Amathea was kicked out when Natoko got the boot, so I put her in Epilogue as well. That was never my intention, but once it was done I opted to stick with it. Frankly, Shadows is a casual, soloing guild and I preferred to be aware of what people in Epilogue were doing. I'd rather run UBRS than sit around waiting to see if anyone in Shadows would log in.

I kept several alts in Shadows, but admittedly, they were bank alts and were unlikely to ever be leveled. I also had a mage in Knights that I actually was leveling, but when I moved I lost internet and only got back online last week. The two months of inactivity were spent entierly out of online gaming, not just out of IRON gaming. I also played CoD with IRON people from time to time, but that's beside the point. And I remained active on the forums the whole time, and actively grouped with any IRON people who requested my assistance, either with Amathea or Natoko.

As for the creation of the Cute and Fuzzy Bunnies, what can I say? I felt like making a lowbie guild for WSG. I wanted a cool pink tabbard and an amusing name. I did not recruit Shadows members or try to poach influence, I simply informed people that I had created an all-officer lowbie PvP guild and that anyone with a similar desire to twink a toon for WSG was welcome to do so. I meant it as a friendly gesture, not an attempt to poach lowbie alts. If I had not extended the invitation to anyone and everyone in IRON I would have felt rude. The fact that it brought out so much backlash was a surprise, and the source of most of the backlash - from people who had never given a damn about what I wanted out of the game until I finally left to go get it - was a source of disgusted amusement.

It actually never occured to me that I would need permission to make CFB, or that some people would flip out and have self-righteous tirades about me. Frankly, the people who objected passionately were people who I rarely saw on, even when I was in Shadows with all of my toons and desperate for a group. To be even more frank, they are the main reason I left in the first place. They wanted to do it their way, no matter what, and to also control what the rest of us were allowed to do. That's hypocritical bullshit. The fact that they're now at level and frustrated as hell is delightfully ironic. They finally understand what the rest of us were saying, but now it's a bit late for them to do much about it.

Anyway, I truly enjoyed my time in IRON, and I'm glad that I'm able to keep in touch with all of the old-school WoW players through Epilogue. I have no hard feelings toward the community as a whole, nor towards the vast majority of the WoW group. There are a few people who can kiss my ass, but I'm happy to have had the chance to meet and game with the rest. I regret that I will not have a chance to game with some of my old COD buddies some time down the road or to meet the folks in the other divisions, but that's life.

Good bye all, and thanks for the memories.
