I have a question. I no longer have forum access, as of a week or so ago. I got no word about any issues or technical difficulties, so I'm just looking for a bit of clarification. I sent a couple of PMs, but got no answers, so I'm not totally certain if there's a technical issue or I got the big size 12 for some reason.
If it's the former then please hook me back up. If it's the latter then I'd appreciate some kind of explanation. A PM would be fine, but suddenly finding myself talking into a void and getting no responses back was a bit of a puzzle.
BTW, it'll be a couple of days until I get internet access at my place, so I won't be looking into this all that often.

PM should have been sent. I did respond to yours a day or two after I read it. I'll resend in case I screwed it up, which is prolly the case.

Ok, got it. Thanks.
Ahem...
Good-bye to all, and thanks for the memories. I enjoyed my time in Iron, but it seems I'm a bit too independent for our collective good, so off I go.
Look me up in WoW if you feel the urge.

Not the way things should have been handled...but I gave up my right to say anything on the matter when I stepped down and stopped playing WoW I suppose...

No worries, man. It's a big organization with a lot of different personalities. When the powers that be see a ruckus in one of the areas that they're responsible for overseeing they have to do something, I guess. I can't say I agree with the decision, and I'm not happy with the way in which it was implemented, but them's the breaks. I have no hard feelings towards anyone.
I'm pretty happy with my WoW time in Epilogue. The downer is the loss of the option to play some future game with some Iron buddies, but I figure the internet is a big enough place that I'll do ok.
By the way, look for Natoko and Amathea to reappear on Icecrown in the next few days. Internet is on the way, finally.
Cheers all.

ok....question...will i still be able to invite baby seal onto TS if we play COD2..cause we were the 2 way back when that got the team started in the first place. I remember when we recruited him and it now feels like I / We lost him all together. I dont want that to happen! Not to get anyone angry but i am a bit pissed because I was not even notified of what was going on with his access.
So is Baby gone from all Iron Privilages and games?? What ever...i am out. Should have never read this post.. Take care Baby Seal and "Good Times man"
PEACE!!!!

Sorry you feel that way Posidian. Communities, such as this one, have to have structure and rules. The structure and the rules form the boundries to which we let members know what they can and cannot do. Otherwise there is no structure and chaos usually follows. These boundries are put in place by the members themselves, not I nor the Admins. The members then look to thier chosen leaders to enforce the rules of which they created. BabySeal has crossed those boundries, twice. Once in early May and again in late August. His issue was brought before the entire group of Iron Phoenix Directors to determine his fate.
The final decision was ultimately left in the hands of the WoW Directors. To preserve and maintain the boundries mandated by the members, the decision was made to let BabySeal go. This was not the first time BabySeal had been let go. Not long after, I had flexed the rules back in May to let him return before the first MCA was released. Since a revision of the MCA was inevitable, it seemed letting BabySeal back in was the right thing to do.
I'd also like to say that matters concerning members are not always made public. It is handled on a case by case basis depending on the sensitivity of the subject.
In closing, while not everyone is going to like decisions being made when boundries are crossed, it is a neccesary function of this community and in any organized congregation of members.

I'm sorry to see you go too, BabySeal. Hopefully you find somewhere on the 'net to call home. Hope to see you on the battlefield sometime.
