In a multi-gaming organization such as ours, the love of the game brings us all together in a comfortable common ground, enjoying new games with old friends. This policy is encouraged and embraced wholeheartedly - it is the absolute definition of our community that we grow with each other, instead of apart from one another.
As a multi-gaming community, however, there are times when we simply do not sponsor a desired game with a structured team, or even in an open-status format. In cases such as this, a member may opt to look elsewhere to satisfy their particular gaming needs, while still keeping in the loop with the rest of our community.
It's a conceit that we can't imagine anyone not wanting to play inside the auspices of IRON Phoenix! However, we also acknowledge that even a multi-gaming organization like us can only play so many games at once. In light of this, we offer the following:
- We are a community that encourages gaming within its borders. Our members should direct their energies and focus on developing interest for a particular game within the community. We permit, encourage and assist member recruitment along those lines for any/all members who are willing to pursue the development. In such, we are here as a resource for new team development. Skills, opinions, and sheer manpower are all available to those who ask. Sponsored teams, which have active Director staff for management, focused recruiting and overall guidance, are the goal for team growth. Seeking membership with another gaming group for a game that is in internally sponsored is highly discouraged.
- We also realize that we just can't/don't support every game on the planet. Categories like this are best left to "retired status", where no direct leaderhip is present for the game, but you're invited to use the appropriate forum to pursue internal gaming in a far more casual manner. Seeking membership with another gaming group with a game in "retired" status can be sought for permission.
- If you are interested in participating with another clan or gaming group in a game we don't support, the Admins will evaluate these on a case-by-case basis. While we prefer your dedication internally, we will fairly evaluate joint membership with another group, and issue final judgement on your MCA request. If permitted, we will insist that any IRON Phoenix resources remain unto itself; our skills, methods or virtual property should not go to benefit another group. In cases where inter-group membership conflict might arise where it's unresolveable, we will rescind permission for inter-group membership and pose the choice of the two associations to the member.
