Lots and lots of interesting changes, that's for sure. Be interesting to how it all plays out.
In the end, some people will bitch and others will be happy :) I'll just be happy with the reset button that's pushed on gear :)

Hunter
* I wanted to clear this up since it is understandably causing some confusion. All pet tiers cost 3 points to advance. There are no talents that cost 5 points. In the beta some tooltips may say 5 but only 3 is enforced. Most importantly this means that there are not talents that are available only to BM hunters. They can get more talents - that's all. Furthemore, the exotic pet abilities while interesting are just the same kind of unique abilities that every pet family gets, like web or prowl. (Source)
BOOOOO!!!!! I was hoping for a new ability or something..... BM hunters just get 5 extra points and the ability to tame creatures with different looks it sounds like.........

The "Exotic Pet" talent isnt in beta yet so i cant tame anything exotic yet :(.

[NIY], give it time. its still in beta. they have alot to fix and alot ot change.
Lots of crying and whining about new stuff, Hunters got it pretty good i think. The steady shot changes are nice, I like the new Marks 51 pointer.
But as with everyone we will wait and see.

LOL, i did a AB last night and HALF the other team was hunters... It was sad... we had NO chance at all.... I could take down 1 or 2 of them but the other 3 would usually kill me. Oh yeah and the whole pack of hunters STAYED together. They would just move from area to area mowing poeple over and letting others cap the points.... we almost where 5 capped on that game...
As a ret pally if i at least have a healer i can really MOW into poeple. I had a druid healing just chain healing me and a warrior last night and WOW we would take on a lot of poeple just us 3. I give the druid a lot of credit you could tell hes done arenas as he was a very good shifter and such. I would just take one after another off the druid and he was just keep spot healing us all.
Tonight I'll finally have my new PVP sword as well. 126dps :)

Okay so many i was wrong about the 51 point talents being sucky but this would just bee freaking funny. I want a HUGE ass dino eating poeple as my pet!!!!
Funniest part is that its special family skill makes it grow bigger LOL!

The devilsaur is an exotic pet that will ultimately require 51-BM to tame. There are several other exotic pets that are not implemented yet. (The moth is not an exotic pet.) The size of the devilsaur is not a bug, but I also can't promise it's going to stay that way. It would be awesome if it did, but only if it doesn't cause a bunch of other problems, like clipping through terrain and making it impossible to see mailboxes in Dalaran.

I guess I miss the old days where having different pets was essential and not just costemtic. Plus, i think hunters need more pet slots. It's not like you can carry them all with you and just summon the one you need so I can't seeing that as being a real advantage (game play wise), but it would let you do some collecting of special pets and let you try out newly available pets without having to dump one of you favorite lv 20 pets that you'll never get back to lv 70 again if you go to try and re-train it :(.
<--Still mad I dumped my Plaugelands boar and the fact there there was only like 2 useful trainable pets in BC and one of them was just another cat...

Dude Deadwalk you must not have been keeping track of the hunter changes. I'll post some quick info in a little bit about the changes. taming a LOW LEVEL pet will be EASY now.

If a hunter tames a pet that is more than five levels beneath than the hunter's level, then the pet jumps to five levels beneath than the hunter's level.

Update: Ghostcrawler has confirmed that we will indeed be getting two new stable slots. In fact, Ghost points out that further testing may lead to the stables being integrated into the UI the way non-combat pets and mounts will be. In other words, summoning all pets would become spells, allowing the hunter to call whichever pet he or she wishes, without visiting a stable.
