Raiding

Well i joined a Raiding guild on the PVP server I play on its fun. Never thought i would like raiding all the time and not sure yet if I will like it long term or not but I'm enjoying it so far. I must say its deffently different raiding 5 days a week then just goffing off every day. The guild I'm with has downed Voidreaver, Hydross and The Lurker below since I joined. You can see the Moonkin(Me) in all 3 shots. So far I've gotten 2 pieces of Tier 4 and quite a few purples in the single week I have been with them. :)

AND NO this is not a recruiting thread or any of that sort. Just saying raiding is different and nothing else is ment by this post. I'm not trying to promote another guild or anything else like that.

Ahh yes raiding, a second job except you pay instead of get payed and are rewarded with epics! sometimes, if your lucky, every other week...time to plan RL events around raiding!!

I'm the only MAIN Moonkin in the guild :) There is an alt Moonkin but I'm primary. I still have MISC gear and only 2 piece tier 4 but already starting the climb the DPS charts.

I was 7th Place on DPS for Leo :)

Druid are kinda weird... I'm kinda stumped on which role to play on my druid. Debuffer or straight DPS. I was doing Debuffer role and using Improved Fairy Fire as well as making sure swarm was on the mob at all times, but the raid leader sent me a tell saying I need to do more dps and i was slacking. I stopped debuffing and went all out and thats when i got 7th place on the DPS chart.

Hell swarm alone sucks to recast. It last 12 seconds and does a 2% negative tohit plus a small dot. That means every 12 seconds I'm waiting on GCD before i can cast again...

Has anyone else played a raiding druid and can give me some tips on if i should even worry about debuffing or straight just DPS?

But going to remove the 3 into improved Fairy fire, just not sure where to put them right now... Could does 3 more into subtlety or just 3 into Celestial Focus.

My guild is working on Kaz in Hyjal :\ damn frostwyrms and gargoyles....

Once you get SSC and TK on Clear you can do Hyjal\BT =) and remind them not to forget ZA like we did... Downed Hex Lord for the first time last night! WOO!

we have a group that does ZA and KARA weekly. ZA just because we can and Kara for the new recruits like Chalista. :) They won't let me in ZA yet because of my gear but i bug them every week about it because in ZA that ACTUALLY ITEMIZED MOONKIN LEATHER GEAR!!!!!!! Can't wait till they let me in. Don't check my armory today as i logged out looking at my bear gear but if you want to check my gear look at it tomorrow. :)

ZA is a balance game, its not Kara where you can take a tank and a healer with 8 DPS and win.

granted most T6 guilds just farm for the bear mount... if your not rocking T4 - T5 ZA is a mini beast since everyone has to pull their weight.

Well i turned my account off for a bit. Hard core raiding pushed me away somewhat because this is the 3rd... er 4th GM i have been with that is pushing hard into raiding that is an ASS HOLE!!!! Tired of dealing with ASS HOLE Gms...... I told them pretty much that I'm taking a real life break and will be back in a little while. At the same time i turned my account off since it was set to renew tomorrow. Got 3 tier 4 pieces though, :)
