Man... I got this!! or well.. I got something called js/psyme. Avg caught it right away. Hopefully got rid of it but it was a huge pain to find and get rid of. this wasn't in the pop ups... It was hidden in the java script of something.

Teeks the big thing they are doing is hiding these in website advertisements using Javascript. If you mouse over the add AT ALL the javascript is executed which starts the install of the virus / malware

If you use Firefox, you can install the Noscript (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722) extension, but then if you ever want a site to be able to use flash/javascript, you have to go back and explicitly enable it for that site.

My antispyware had this one covered by the time the story was posted here.

Actually i found a Firefox addon that remove all advertising. Basically it will NOT EVEN SHOW any adds what so ever. It's usues a advertising list server to keep track of all the adds and block them as the page loads. It's call "Adblock Plus."
http://adblockplus.org/en/
I can browse ANY of the sites that used to have ads now and not have ANY of them loading. :)
I have it loaded on my home PC, my Work laptop and my girlfriend home PC as well. :)
