OK,
So Mac was flying from Tanaris to 1000 needles so I alt+tabbed out to look something up. I get an error message and WoW shuts down. Not the first time this has happened (albiet rare). So log back and and try to bringing Mac back on. Before the splash screen is done - bam, crash again.
I look at the error message a little closer and it's telling me one of my kalimdor*.adt files is corrupt.
So I do a lil searching and seems blizzard has a 'repair' tool that will search your files and repair any corrupted ones - PERFECT!. I run this tool, check all my stuff and basically returns with a "wow - you're fucked". It resets all my files to patch 2.0.0, then tells me to run the patch tool again.
So I run the patch tool again, it downloads and patches to 2.3.? (I forget what we're at). So I figure ok, this took 3.5 hours but atleast it should all be sorted now right? Go to log on Mac and bam - exact same problem.
Now it seems my next move is to uninstall/reinstall. With patching that'll be a good 6-7 hours. So thought I'd hit here incase anyone else has some thoughts on something else to try....
EDIT - Spelling /sigh
