I figured I would throw a post together laying out the bosses in KZ for easy reading and research. This will make it easy to review tactics and such while we start working through Karazhan.

Main Karazhan overview (http://www.wowwiki.com/Karazhan). Here you can see everything from events, named beasts, history of KZ, etc. Read up on events such as the Chess Event (http://www.wowwiki.com/Chess_event).

Attumen the Huntsman (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=23&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): 1st boss and gear check. Optional Boss.

Moroes (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=19&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): Required.

Maiden of Virtue (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=32&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): Optional.

The Curator (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=33&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): Required.

Terestian Illhoof (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=36&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): Optional.

Shade of Aran (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=30&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): Optional, but strongly suggested.

Netherspite (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=37&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): Optional.

Prince Malchezaar (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=35&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): End Boss.

Nightbane (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=6&sid=iMeEhsCvU4): Summoned End Boss.

Just checked it out. Thanks!

Pretty cool site. Nice they took the time to put that info and the videos together.

The only reason to skip optional bosses is because no one needs loot.

I'm quite sure EP knows this, Huntsmen is very important once you hit honored (he opens up a repair shop once he is dead... well a guy past him)

Maiden has tanking and healing gear that is really worth it.

Kermie, Atlantis, Zero and I are really good resources if you need to see the fights from different aspects. Me tanking\Healing and Lantis, Zero and Kermie DPS. Most of us know all the tricks of the fights and ways to make it go smoother.

Thanks, Cit. On Attumen, you are right about considering him optional or not, at least in the beginning. Once you hit honored with the Violet Eye, Koren, the NPC behind him will allow you to repair and buy Blacksmithing recipes.

Again, I appreciate the different perspectives. I went into KZ last night with Banefire and ran up to Moroes with no wipes. It was a good learning experience to get a feel for KZ and see speed and organization needed for us in IP, i.e. you only have 25 minutes to clear trash, then down Attumen before respawns happen (and yes, DBM and BW addons show you the time remaining before respawn, which was sweet).

KZ looks to be a fun and challenging instance for sure.
