FYI, people are going to want to start thinking about who their main is going to be so you can recruit.

It's also going to amount to people dedicating a night (or two or three) a week to hitting Kara. It's going to take a lot of dedication and is going to be a little bit of a step beyond what Knights have always been about.

Just a suggestion: Set up raid night(s), which will, for now, be 5 man nights. Your needs when starting Kara will be very similar to setting up two 5-man instances simultaneously (later in the instance, they'll be more specific). You're going to need to make sure you're geared up anyway, so you might as well start with attendance checks and combine that with gearing up to see where you're going to be at. About half your stuff going into Kara should be lvl 70 blues.

From the little I know, it seems it would be a pretty good idea to start working heroics before diving into KZ - gives a nice lil intro to mobs that hit harder as well as better drops in order to gear up for KZ

Depends on your class. There are a lot of classes/specs that are completely ignored in heroics. Also, in a lot of ways, heroics are harder than raiding. When you raid, you have one job and one job only in any given encounter. When things go bad (i.e. the tank dies), you're done and anyone left should just run far enough away to reset the encounter.

I'm sure a bunch of the 1337 raid guys are going to come in and go "OMFG, R41dZ are 2 much m0r3 ub3r!!", but they're really not. They come back and say that because they're overgeared for the heroics and they're usually running with same. Raid bosses are scripted. Know the encounter, do the job right and you win. One or two people don't know their role and you fail. Yeah, it requires coordination as a group, but heroic instances require FAR more flexibility and skill as an individual.

huh only 2 healers in the whole bunch. I might bring Addet up and start working on her key. I would like to try raiding as I have never done it before, but I will have to see. Addet has a nice healing set that gets me to 1k + to healing with over 7k mana. I don't remember my crit chance but will look at it this weekend.
