My husband and I play TF2 quite a bit on your server (when it's not full). Figured we'd introduce ourselves.

We're from Indiana... have played Dark Age of Camelot, City of Heroes, as well as World of Warcraft. Looking forward to Warhammer Online but for now, we're enjoying TF2. You'll most likely see us running around as heavy/medic. :)

Besides TF2 we are on Icecrown for WoW...both horde and alliance.

Welcome might I add

Greetings!

Glad to see you guys found your way to the forums. The couples Heavy+Medic combo seems to be pretty common now adays. I'm half tempted to show my girlfriend how to play a medic so she can follow me around and keep my ass patched up ;)

See ya in game!

Isn't that how Syn got Tula hooked? :)

*waves from the inside to the outside* CoH, eh? What server, what toon names? I'm a Freedomite, myself.

Not quite, we actually met via via Yahoo Games in a roundabout sort of way. It's a sordid tale you probably don't want to hear.

Welcome Ellio! It's nice to bring some more of the fairer sex into the loving embrace of IP. Welcome to Kevdogg as well. Hope you find the J you lost the other day.

We played on the Infinity server as Max and Meg Winters. That was a LOOOONG time ago... before we got hooked to World of Warcraft! We started a guild, which I guess is still active to this day, called Digital Defenders (http://ddhq.org). "Enhancement diversification" pretty much ruined that game for us.

That's cool! I met Kev while playing Dark Age of Camelot about 5 years ago. We were just friends for a while... who woulda guessed I'd end up marrying him? We still chuckle about it. Our non-gamer friends think it's the weirdest thing.

We play on Steamweedle Cartel... just on Horde although our first characters were Alliance on Agamaggan.

Howdy everyone! I'm slower to getting on forums than ellioJ.

So far my favorite moments on TF2 are spinning my mouse like crazy in a circle while shooting when the "Waiting for Players" is up, and turning the corner and finding a hallway full of blue with 200 ammo! 8)

kev, you made me dizzy in the spawn room earlier tonight. Nice. So with your mouse that sensitive, how bad is your carpal? :)

Aah, "E.D.", or "Enhancement Dysfunction". There are pills for that you know. :)

I was bummed by ED for a while, but got used to it. It annoys me philosophically, but in normal gameplay it "does" make sense. Inventions make things much more interesting, to the point of harkening back to the ED days. :)

But you were on Infinity, so "bleagh". If I logged in there, I'd double the population. Freedom's where it's at! :)

So are you two just sayin' hi, or looking to join? Cuz if you're just saying hi, you two are damn chatty.

We're pretty chatty people! Wouldn't mind joining either as we're looking for a good spot on TF2 and so far your server has been the most entertaining. 8)

By the by, ordered a new headset so when that comes in I won't be stuck to text-only responses!

What can I say? I love my sensitive mouse! ellioJ can't stand how I use the game controls, but we still make a pretty good team!

I hear you....we both feel a little weird about telling folks how we met. But on a good note, we were friends for a LONG time before we ever got into the...ya know....hot steamy monkey sex.

It pretty much just consists of a Heavy standing still and going berszerk with the gun...swinging it all around while firing the whole time. It just looks hilarious to me.

Your cat and me have something in common I think...

And believe me, I am laughing while doing the dance! lol

ellioJ just rolls her eyes at me though!

Kevdogg and Ellio,

Please send an e-mail to applications@iron-phoenix.com and we'll get the process started. The e-mail doesn't need to say anything, I just need your e-mail addresses so I can reply with our application (don't worry, it's mostly painless).
