Just got my copy of Half-Life 2 (just in time to scratch the itch left with the WoW beta going away). This install has got to be the longest in history! My god, I've been installing for close to 30 mins.

So I guess what I want to hear is that it's worth it. Anyone else playing HL2? Feedback so far?

I've heard nothing but great things about the game, I plan to pick it up here in a bit...can't wait to get my hands on that gravity gun

HL2 is quite the adventure but it also comes with CS:S. I find myself playing CS:S more than HL2. I guess when it comes down to it I like playing with and againest people not machines.

HL2 felt very very short to me.
But there is CS:S to fill the void, and HL2 Deathmatch, and Day of Defeat:S is supposedly coming soon too. Not to mention all the mods in the works.
So I guess its just a matter of time before I get all the additional stuff that makes it feel like a "full meal"
On the flip side/silver lining it was definately not repetitive. There where a number of unique levels that prevented this title from falling into the same trap as Doom3. As is in "OOOHH AAAHHH, pretty but the same as the last level *SIGH*"

Great game, much better than Doom 3. But I'm with Excess...the game seemed prematurely short...I actually finished it in pretty good time, which is amazing, since I almost never finish any games. rav
